FAQ: For the E363xA and E364xA Bench Power Supply, the display update speed when the "Display Limit" function is on is different from the display update speed when the function is off. Why is this so?

When the “Display Limit” function is on, the readback function is disabled. As the power supply does not need to cater to the readback function, this allows the display to be updated fast.

When the “Display Limit” function is off, the readback function is enabled. The power supply needs to cater to the readback function (the power supply sets and reads back the measurement at the output terminal). Therefore, the display updates do not occur as fast.
